Have you ever heard a lone wolf's cry?
A howl so sincere, the whole forest goes silent-
A sweet melody so depressing yet surreal-
A cry for life, love, and family-
So powerful, yet so lonely.
Have you ever heard a lone wolf's cry?
This piece is probably the best realistic I've ever done. I paid attention to as much of the detail I could, and actually used a few refrence pieces.
I basically poured my emotions into this piece in a symbolic way. Right now, I feel like a lone wolf; forgotten by my pack. I feel most of my friends turn behind my back, and I can't trust them anymore.
Ugh, I'm tired now. Spent a while earlier on google searching for pictures to inspire me to draw, and this is the result.
Please don't be too hard on critiquing. I love this piece, and it means a lot to me. I don't want to change my mind on it quite yet.
Had a heck of a time with the icy howl and the background..
5 hours (counting Google research)
Sketched, scanned, colored (with no outline, amazingly)
I can sort of feel the emotion in this piece. And I know how you feel. My old friends ditched my birthday party to go shopping. One of them blurt out one of my secrets in class.
I simply love this piece. The coloring is so nice, as is the fur texture. The blue background adds sort of a sense of calmness- silence.
Wow, it's amazing to know how some friends are, and how you can relate to other people. In the 6th grade I was a very quiet person and was treated like I couldn't hold an opinion. My 'friends' only cared about boys, one of which I have no longing for still, and they would ditch me to go play basketball.
To put that whole thing short; I hate basketball, and have lost most of that old groups' friendship. But if I would have stayed, I don't know who I would be.. Probably a follower.
Thankyou for faving this piece. It's wonderful to know that some people love this as much as I do.
Now I have to see if my art teacher will take this as my final assignment. We're supposed to only use the mediums we've used in that class, but I hope she will take this. heheheheheh..

It's really great!! I love it. I had those type of friends in 3rd grade. They stopped talking to me because I told the truth to the recess supervisor. People suck so much sometimes. They had lied thus they got in trouble and I did not. They also took stuff from me because I sort of let them because I wanted it to be the way it was before. I didn't have any friends until I moved to Hilsboro. They were great friends. But as usual I moved. Back to Portland. I saw them again, it was so weird and awkward. I had one friend in 5th grade. Now in 10th grade I have a great group of friends. I know they won't hurt me because they are true people. I am very lucky. Except one of them are moving to Kansas. She better follow the yellow brick road back to Eugene in the future! Sorry if I over shared. Very brilliant photo!!!
Lol, thanks.
